The Nighthawk-UL is a streamlined, cost effective articulating night vision goggle intended for users who want a simple and reliable system without the added complexity of feature rich housings. The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum and optimized for reduced weight, while maintaining durability for regular use. The goggle uses a single rotary control for power and constant IR operation and is powered by one onboard CR123 battery. While simplified in configuration, the Nighthawk-UL retains core functionality including articulation and automatic pod shutoff when stowed. Its articulating design allows the optical pods to fold flat against the helmet when stowed, reducing neck strain and improving overall wearability. This listing includes the Nighthawk-UL housing only. Optics, image intensifier tubes, and other components required to assemble a complete night vision device are not included.
