Through our Trade-In & Upgrade Program, you can bring in your current item and apply its value toward a new purchase at Steele Industries — making your upgrade easier and more affordable. Just keep in mind: trade-ins are only available when you’re also purchasing a new item from us. This program is built for upgraders, not standalone trade-ins. If you’re shopping for something new, this is the perfect time to bring in what you’ve got.
1. Fill Out The Form:
To begin the Trade-In process, please complete the submission form below as thoroughly as possible. Ensure to provide detailed and accurate information describing the device and its condition.
- Clear photos of the housing and overall condition.
- Photos of the Eyepieces and Objective Lens.
- Photos taken through the device while pointed at a white wall or white sheet of paper to show cosmetic spots or blemishes.
- Photos of Spec Sheet, QC Sheets, and Original Order Information.
Incomplete submissions may delay the appraisal & trade-in process.
2. We Will Review & Reach Out:
Once your form has been submitted, our appraisers will review the information provided. If additional details, photos, or clarifications are needed, we will contact you directly to continue the evaluation process.
Our goal is to ensure we have a complete and accurate understanding of your device in order to provide the most accurate estimated trade-in value.
3. Give You A Value:
After reviewing your submission, we will provide an estimated trade-in value for your device. Please keep in mind that this is only an estimate, and the final appraisal value will be determined upon physical inspection of the device.
If you choose to move forward with the offer, the unit must be shipped to Steele Industries for a inspection and final evaluation. Final value may vary depending on the physical, cosmetic, and operational condition of the device upon inspection.
4. Upgrade & Delivery:
Once the final trade-in value has been approved and accepted, your trade-in value can be applied to the purchase of your new device.
After the order is finalized, your new device will be built processed, and shipped to you.
